Motorhead Day Coming To London
.
(hennemusic) London will host a special Motorhead Day next month to mark the 41st anniversary of the band's very first live show. "Raise A Glass For Lemmy" will celebrate the group's July 20, 1975 debut gig at the Roundhouse Camden with an event at the nearby Black Heart Inn on July 20, 2016. Two DJs will recreate the magic of Neil Kay's Soundhouse with the sounds of Motorhead and all things New Wave Of British Heavy Metal by spinning tunes from the era - including including a full play through of the classic 1981 live album "No Sleep 'til Hammersmith." The event has been organized with the support and blessing of Motorhead and the Motorhead Bangers Fan Club. Tickets are strictly limited to 250 and are completely free.
