Zac Brown Band To Begin Work On New Album
.
(Radio.com) Upon learning that their 2015 album Jekyll + Hyde went platinum, the Zac Brown Band knows it's time to create some new music and give back to the fans who have supported them over the years. Although their most recent album may have experimented with the homegrown sound that defined their earlier work, they're ready to take things back to basics. Brown announced in a new video that they would be heading back into the studio later this year to begin work on new music. And it's going to be a throwback to their earlier sound, like the kind listeners heard on the 2008 album The Foundation, which recently went five times platinum. "We're going in this winter to make a brand new ZBB record, straight back to our roots, Foundation-style," he said. "It's going to be an amazing album. We're very excited to announce to you that we're making the new one. Thank you again for everything that you do for us." Watch the announcement here.
