Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town Cover David Bowie
.
(Radio.com) Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley and Little Big Town's all-star performance of David Bowie's 1977 hit "Heroes" has been posted online. The country stars covered the classic song during the 10th Annual ACM Honors which aired on CBS on Friday (September 9). Their tribute to the late singer was also broadcast on Saturday for the 5th biennial Stand Up To Cancer television fundraiser. On the song, each act traded verses before joining in together on the powerful chorus. Bentley, Urban and Little Big Town all donned Stand Up to Cancer t-shirts while the non-profit's logo appeared on a screen behind them. Bowie died after his private battle with cancer on January 10th, 2016 while each of the three acts have their own personal ties to supporting the fight against the disease as Urban lost his father to cancer last year while Little Big Town's Jimi Westbrook previously lost his sister.
