Metallica have shared a pro-shot video of their performance of their classic song "Master Of Puppets" from their very first concert in Saudi Arabia, that took place on December 14th in Riyadh where the band headlined the first night of the Soundstorm Festival.

Last month the metal giants announced the special appearance and said via socal media, "We're not done with 2023 just yet, as an amazing opportunity has just come our way to perform at a major festival that we have never played in a part of the world we rarely get to visit. (continue)

Legendary drummer Mike Portnoy has revealed how his reunion with Dream Theater came about in a new interview with Drumeo. The band announced Portnoy's long-awaited return to the group back in October.

He explained how it came about in the new video interview, "It's been 13 years, and I think time heals all wounds, as the expression goes. It's been many, many years now of kind of rekindling my relationships with the guys, starting with John Petrucci, maybe five, six, seven years ago or so, we just reconnected. (continue)

Killing Joke frontman Jaz Coleman took to Instagram on Thursday (December 28th), to share a tribute to his late bandmate Kevin "Geordie" Walker who died at the age of 64 following a massive stroke on November 26th.

Jaz wrote, "My dearest Geordie, for days I have been staring at the blank paper in front of me unable to write anything. How does one begin to convey this immeasurable sadness within? Or reduce the last 45 years into a few paragraphs? The epic journey we have shared together - the hardships and the victories, thousands of concerts, the multiple lives we have experienced together in this short life across the world.
