Prince Slams Scalpers As Ticket Sales Postponed

(Radio.com) The "Prince Spotlight: Piano & A Microphone Tour" is slated to come to the UK later this month but the on-sale date for tickets, which was on Friday (Nov. 13), has been postponed suddenly.

Ticketmaster and Gigs And Tours offered statements via Twitter indicating the delay with little other information available. While the ticket distributors did not give much insight into the issue, Prince was vocal about his motivation.

He went on Twitter to bring attention to the hiked up prices of tickets on the secondary market, which is a form of scalping. "…cheaper to fly to MPLS get accommodation & go to a Paisley Park show," he tweeted. "Better overall experience too!"

He posted a picture of a vulture with this comment: "MULTIPLE CHOICE: A. SCAVENGER B. VULTURE C. TOUT D. ALL OF THE ABOVE" Read more and see the posts here.
