On Monday Jeff Beck And Steven Tyler Cover Prince's 'Purple Rain' was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) Rock guitar legend Jeff Beck threw an epic 50-year celebration party concert at the Hollywood Bowl last Wednesday (August 10), and during the performance the guitar legend and former Yardbirds member paid tribute to Prince with a cover of 'Purple Rain." That's when the place really heated up. Beth Hart performed lead vocals and Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler joined in with some trademark high notes and background vocals.
