Steven Tyler Super Bowl Commercial Preview Goes Online
. Adweek reports the commercial, which will air during the second quarter, was inspired by the apparent trend of Skittles fans making things (pictures, recipes, stop-motion films, etc.) out of the rainbow-colored candies. The commercial is part of Skittles' "Root For The Rainbow" Super Bowl 50 campaign, which includes the company giving away 100,000 free packs of Skittles to fans if a rainbow appears over the game in San Francisco on Sunday. Use the the hashtags #SkittlesRainbow and #Contest prior to kickoff to qualify for the goodies. The candy maker recently created "a custom, one-of-a-kind Skittles covered microphone for Steven" as a thanks for his work in the commercial.
