Rush stars Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson reunited on stage last Thursday night (May 23rd) for a surprise appearance at the Gordon Lightfoot tribute concert at Massey Hall in Toronto.

Lee and Lifeson jumped on stage with the house band Blue Rodeo and performed "The Way I Feel" in tribute to Lightfoot, the acclaimed Canadian musician who passed away in May of 2023 at the age of 84. (continue)

The Rolling Stones took to social media last week to announce what will be the final concert of their Hackney Diamonds Tour, that the legendary band launched in support of their album of the same name.

The tour will be concluding on July 21st when the band performs at the Thunder Ridge Nature Reserve in Ridgedale, Missouri. Tickets for the concert at set to go on sale May 31st, according to the post. (continue)

Swedish rockers Stillborn have released a music video for their new single "Katharsis". The track comes from their forthcoming album 'Netherworlds,' which is set for release on June 28th via Black Lodge Records.

The band had this to say about the track, "'Katharsis' - the song and guide that takes you through the darkest corners of your mind, meets your deepest fears, and completes the journey with true purification. ALP has released Grateful: The Music Plays the Band, a seventeen-track collection of some of the finest Grateful Dead songs performed by key members of the band's greater musical community including Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company), Dark Star Orchestra and more.

Proceeds from the LP will benefit The Grateful Guitars Foundation, a 501-c3 nonprofit that obtains world-class musical instruments for talented players who seek to carry on the tradition of jam band music into the 21st century and beyond. The foundation will host their second annual benefit concert at San Francisco's famed Great American Music Hall on August 13, 49 years to the day since the Grateful Dead's legendary performance at the venue. The event will feature performances by Melvin Seals (Jerry Garcia Band), John Kadlecik (Melvin Seals & JGB, Furthur), Barry Sless (Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros), Elliott Peck (Midnight North) and more, as well as guest appearances from David Hidalgo (Los Lobos), Steve Berlin (Los Lobos) and more.
