Chris Martin Reveals Springsteen's Super Bowl Advice
. During the interview, Martin revealed the advice he got from Bruce Springsteen about performing at the big game. "I love the whole concept of trying to present your entire musical life in twelve and a half minutes, it's a great challenge, said Martin. "After fifteen years of the band we've possibly got eleven good minutes, he laughs, "so we have some special guests, and they'll cover the rest." The advice from the Boss? "It's gotta be muscle memory," Martin relates, doing his best Springsteen impression. "You gotta know every note man, 12 minutes, it ain't not long, but it's long enough." Read more here.
