At least 20 people are dead and at least 100 injured by a shooter near a country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip on Sunday night (October 1st), according to early reports. The gunfire erupted as Jason Aldean was performing. Local police that one shooter was "down" and they tweeted early Monday morning (Oct 2nd) that "At this time we do not believe there are any more shooters." According to early reports, the shootings took place near the Route 91 Harvest Festival. The three-day country music festival was taking place next to Mandalay Bay.
