(hennemusic) Metallica has topped the UK charts for first time in 15 years with its latest album, "72 Seasons." According to The Official Charts Company, Metallica earned their fourth No. 1 on the Official Albums Chart Top 100 - and first since 2008's "Death Magnetic" - by outselling the rest of the Top 5 combined.

"72 Seasons" also topped the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, and landed at No. 1 on the Official Record Store Chart as the week's most-purchased LP in the UK's independent record shops. (continue)

(hennemusic) Pink Floyd are streaming a video replay of "The Dark Side Of The Moon" album listening event timed to a rare total solar eclipse at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Marine Park (Nyinggulu) in Exmouth, Western Australia on April 20.

The event saw the iconic UK band invite eight competition-winning fans to a special secluded beach location in the region to hear the 1973 album - with Roger Waters iconic closing lines "But the sun is eclipsed by the moon..." from the album's final song "Eclipse" timed to align with the extraordinary moment of total eclipse at 11.29am WST. On May 9, 2023, MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT will release Sinister Whisperz IV: The Bedroom Tapes (1987-1988). This fourth release in the artist's retrospective series focuses on the pre-band days, when the duo were just beginning to collaborate.

It's a collection of rare live recordings, made in a small Chicago bedroom during the winter of 1987-88. The 13 songs, jams and grooves highlight TKK's industrial origins, featuring heavily distorted vocals, jack hammer percussion sounds, and a good ol' dose of Satanic adoration. (continue)

Robert Jon & The Wreck have released Live At The Ancienne Belgique, their first-ever live concert film, via Joe Bonamassa's Journeyman Records. Recorded during their sold-out show at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium on June 29th, 2022, the live CD/DVD set captures the Wreck amid their longest-ever tour - 67 performances in 75 days across 9 countries. The night was nothing less than spectacular, featuring a setlist that spanned the last decade of their prolific career, from their 2013 debut to their 2022 release.

"A lot of time and effort went into our show at the Ancienne Belgique," comments frontman Robert Jon Burrison. "We had been meaning to make a live album for years, so we saw this as an opportunity to document and release unique, more evolved versions of our songs." (continue)
