KISS legend Ace Frehley has released a music video for his new single "10,000 Volts", which is the title track to his forthcoming studio album that will be released on February 23, 2024.
The new album will feature 11-tracks and was produced by Ace and Steve Brown (Trixter) and is the follow-up to his 2018 studio album, "Spaceman". The "10,000 Volts" video was directed by Alex Kouvatsos. (continue)

The Jesus and Mary Chain today set the wheels in motion for a landmark year ahead as they announce the March 8th release of their new album Glasgow Eyes via Fuzz Club and unleash its lead single "jamcod" (spell it out). The duo - brothers Jim and William Reid - will further mark their 40th year in 2024 with an autobiography (published by Orion/White Rabbit) and a major UK and European tour.
Glasgow Eyes was recorded at Mogwai's Castle of Doom studio in Glasgow, where Jim and William continued the creative process that resulted in their previous album, 2017's Damage and Joy, becoming their highest charting album in over twenty years. What emerged is a record that finds one of the UK's most influential groups embracing a productive second chapter, their maelstrom of melody, feedback and controlled chaos now informed more audibly by their love for Suicide and Kraftwerk and a fresh appreciation of the less disciplined attitudes found in jazz. Chelsea Wolfe presents her new single, 'Tunnel Lights,' from the upcoming album, She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She, out February 9th, 2024 on Loma Vista. Centred around love and light, 'Tunnel Lights' conjures up a late-night Twin Peaks feel until it cracks open into a swirl of analog and electric waves. As Wolfe explains, "'Tunnel Lights' is about actually living instead of just 'getting by.' It's about waking up to the fact that you've been languishing in the dark and it's time to start taking steps towards the lights that'll guide you out of the tunnel-cave."
On She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She, there are references to shedding exoskeletons, to excommunication, and to permanent fissures. "I'm sanctified in my lover's eyes," Wolfe leads with on 'Tunnel Lights.' "No way around it/No way to fight/A pull too strong/Don't try to forfeit/The way is through/On tunnel lights." Dense and minimal, raw and opulent, intimate and expansive, the production of the song and throughout the album breaks apart then rebuilds-samples of the band are cut and pasted back together, heavy guitars dissolve into trip-hop breaks; the vocal delivery feels sculptural and is both hushed and soaring. Los Angeles-based Americana/Country-rock singer-songwriter Heather Anne Lomax has shared a cinematic music video for her empowering single "Mama's Sleepin'" from her debut album The Doman Tracks (Blackbird Record Label) released earlier this month.
The video stars actor Todd Lowe ("Gilmore Girls," "True Blood") and was premiered yesterday (November 27) via Americana Highways which noted: "This song tackles the harsh reality of having no choice but to live under the authority of a harsh adult head on. [The lyric] 'Leave us kids alone, don't you holler while my Mama's sleepin'' is strong, direct, and heavy hitting.
