Judas Priest almost topped the album chart in the U.K with their new studio effort "Invincible Shield", debuting at No. 2, which is also the highest chart position the British metal legends have ever held in their native U.K.

"Invincible Shield" was kept from the No. 1 position on the chart for the week dated March 14th through 20th.by pop star Ariana Grande's "Eternal Sunshine", according to The Official Charts Company, that also revealed that the No. 2 debut is a career high for the band, that previously peaked at No. 4 with their iconic 1980 album "British Steel". Korn took to social media to share the news that their special 30th anniversary show at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, CA that will take place on October 5th has sold out.

The band will take the stage at the 22,000 seat venue for the special anniversary show that will also feature performances from Evanescence, Gojira, Scars On Broadway, Spiritbox, and Vended. (continue)

Steve Harley, frontman of the British glam veterans Cockney Rebel, has died at the age of 73, his family shared via social media on Sunday (March 17th). Harley revealed back in December that he was battling cancer.

His family took to the official Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel Facebook page to break the sad news to fans. They wrote, "We are devastated to announce that Steve, our wonderful husband, father and grandfather, has passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side. (continue)

Queens Of The Stone Age vocalist/guitarist Josh Homme was asked about the possibility of the supergroup Them Crooked Vultures reuniting during a AMA session Reddit this past week.

The short-lived project that also featured Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones, released their debut album in 2010 and went inactive after touring in support of the record. (continue)
