The official Ozz Fest YouTube channel have shared a new documentary entitled "Ozzfest 2002 uncensored" that features MTV personality Kurt Loder narrating "the history of Ozzfest from its inception in 1996 to 2001."

The 20-minute clip features behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Ozzy Osbourne, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit, David Draiman of Disturbed, Brandon Boyd and Alex Katunich of Incubus, Lynn Strait of Snot, Dave WIlliams and Mike Luce of Drowning Pool, Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach, Sharon Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne, Jack Osbourne, and more plus clips of Ozzy Osbourne, Slipknot, System of a Down, Limp Bizkit, Megadeth, Rob Zombie, Pantera, Sepultura, Mudvayne, Godsmack, Soulfly, Kittie, Crazy Town, and more. Rock legends Deep Purple have released a music video for their brand new single, "Lazy Sod". The track comes from their forthcoming album, "=1", which will arrive on July 19th.

Frontman Ian Gillan revealed the inspiration for the track to Rocks magazine, "Recently, a young journalist asked me how many songs I had written in my life. I replied that the last time my assistant counted, twenty years ago, it was over 500. (continue)

Metallica have shared pro-shot video of their performance of the classic track "Ride The Lightning" from their June 16, 2024 concert at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The concert was the second Copenhagen appearance on the latest European leg of the legendary band's M72 tour that sees the band playing two nights at each venue featuring completely different sets. They rocked the same venue on June 14th. (continue)

Sons of a songwriter, Matt [vocals] and Brad [guitar] dive into their family history and how they first started playing instruments and writing music as kids. They also share stories about the first major tour the band embarked, as support for Queens of the Stone Age, before moving to London to pursue their dream full-time, playing to small rooms with only a handful of people. Boston Manor are today sharing the video for their latest single 'Heat Me Up', directed by Tom Dream. 'HEAT ME UP' is the latest single to be taken from forthcoming album Sundiver, out September 6th via SharpTone Records.

Lead singer Henry Cox comments on the single's accompany video: "'Heat Me Up' is a love song. It's about realising that what you have is so precious you would do anything to protect it and nurture it. We set out to work with Tom Dream on this project, he's somebody we've wanted to work with for ages, so we were over the moon that we could make the collaboration happen for 'Heat Me Up'. Produced by rockabilly guitar icon Danny B. This latest single has been on my mind since the moment we wrote it about a year ago. We wrote "HELLBOUND" while Jake and I were in Nashville and for some reason during the session, I randomly remembered being in my high school English class and hearing a line from Hamlet of all places. The line is said by Hamlet when he tells the audience that he's essentially going to start acting crazy. At least I think it is! (continue)
