Who Vs Live Earth

.
(Contact Music) THE WHO rocker ROGER DALTREY has blasted this summer's (07) series of Live Earth concerts across the globe, branding them 'un-environmental' for the amount of air pollution flying the stars in for the gigs will cause. The singer believes the amount of fuel needed to put on the concert contradicts the whole reason the event is being held in the first place - to raise awareness about climate change. He says, "The last thing the planet needs is a rock concert... I can't believe it. Let's burn even more fuel. We have problems with global warming, but the questions and the answers are so huge I don't know what a rock concert's ever going to do to help. "My answer is to burn all the f**king oil as quick as possible and then the politicians will have to find a solution." The veteran rocker was also quick to slam Bob Geldof's Live8 gigs, adding, "What did we really achieve at Live 8? We got loads of platitudes and no action. Who were we kidding there? [well, we did get a DVD boxset out of it- see full story for more because Roger isn't done!] - Click here for the Full Story
