Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden and iconic comics brand Marvel have just launched a new apparel line that is now available to order via Amazon.

The line available via the online retailer includes four different shirts: An off-white (natural) t-shirt called "Marvel Zombies Eddie", as well as a black "Marvel Aces High War Machine". (read more)

Sad news to report from Nashville as the historic and beloved music venue Exit/In have announced that they will be closing down on Thanksgiving after 51 years.

The operators, Chris and Telisha Cobb, broke the news to patrons via social media. They wrote, "Exit/In is closing Thanksgiving, as our lease ends at the end of the year. It appears that 51 years of local, independent ownership and operation have come to an end. We're humbled to host this last run of concerts with friends from many eras gracing our stage again. There have been too many incredible moments to count over the 18 years we've stewarded Exit/In. It's an incredibly special place that we are so fortunate to have been a part of. Thank you to everyone who's been part of the extended Exit/In family. Hurry Back will remain open into December, but will close before year's end. (read more)

Seether has teamed up with Craft Recordings to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, "Disclaimer", by releasing expanded reissue on vinyl, CD, and digital.

The special reissues will be released on January 20th. The deluxe 3-LP or 2-CD packages will include original 12-track album plus a previously unreleased live recording of their full New Hampshire's Hampton Beach Casino concert in 2003. (read more)

Flogging Molly have announced that they will be returning to the road early next year with a new round of dates to promote their latest album, "Anthem".

The six-week trek will feature support from Anti Flag and Skinny Lister and is set to kick off on February 2nd in Austin, TX at the ACL Live at The Moody Theater. (read more)

LOVE BY NUMB3RS have shared a music video for their new single "Ashes". The track comes from their recently released sophomore album, "Earth Needs A Moon".

The video was directed by the band's Jon Roods and was filmed in 15 different locations. Four of the locations were on Peaks Island in Casco Bay including Fisher's Waterhouse (where the band started the album in January); all over Casco Bay; and Cambridge, MA outside the historic Middle East club. Jagwar Twin have shared a video for a live acoustic version of their track "Soul Is A Star". The original version of the song appears on their recently released album, "33."

Mastermind Roy English had this to say about the album, "I've been thinking a lot about why we tell stories, why every civilization had myths and tales that were told and how those stories came to represent cultures, how these stories have shifted in an ever more digitally-connected world and yet an ever decreasingly human-connected world. What do you give a Grammy award winner with 7 #1 monster hits, named by Billboard magazine as one of the top 100 artists of all time, for his 80th birthday? Recently, Vice President and Executive Producer of the Grand Ole Opry Dan Rogers, along with Ryman Hospitality Properties CEO Colin Reed and country crooner Dustin Lynch, surprised music icon Lee Greenwood with an award acknowledging Greenwood's astonishing achievement of 25 million worldwide music sales.

Hermano, the cult Californian stoner rock band formed by John Garcia (ex-Kyuss), Dandy Brown, David Angstrom, Chris Leathers (Supafuzz) and Mike Callahan (Disengage), joins the Ripple Music roster for the reissue of their entire back catalogue as well as the release of an exclusive 10" record in 2023.

Entirely remixed by David Barrick (Black Stone Cherry, Kentucky Headhunters) and mastered by Ty Tabor (King's X), the updated Hermano catalogue has been dynamically enhanced and will offer some exciting new features and twists such as never-before-heard live and studio tracks. (read more)

Ozzy Osbourne has reacted to the news that he has earned four Grammy nominations for his latest studio album, "Patient Number 9", the most nominations that the legendary vocalist has ever received for a single album.

He was nominated for Best Rock Performance: "Patient Number 9," Ozzy Osbourne feat. Jeff Beck"; Best Metal Performance: "Degradation Rules," Ozzy Osbourne feat. Tony lommi; Best Rock Song: "Patient Number 9," John Osbourne, Chad Smith, Ali Tamposi, Robert Trujillo & Andrew Wotman, songwriters (Ozzy Osbourne feat. Biohazard are celebrating their 35th anniversary by reuniting their original lineup of guitarist/vocalist Billy Gradziadei, guitarist Bobby Hambel, drummer Danny Schuler, and bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld.

The first wave of confirmed dates for the seminal outfit includes multiple international festivals in the summer of 2023, as well as select appearances in America. (read more)

New Found Glory have announced that they will be unplugging early next year and will be hitting the road for the Make The Most Of It Acoustic Tour.

The tour will be kicking off on January 28th in St. Louis, MO at Delmar Hall and will wrap up on March 23rd in Miami Beach, FL at the Miami Beach Bandshell. (read more)

Presented by Shakey Pictures, Trafalgar Releasing, and Warner Records in movie theaters worldwide on Thursday, December 1 with select encores on Sunday, December 4, the feature includes footage from Northern California, London, and Nashville, during the signature album's creation. (hennemusic) Bruce Springsteen performed the 1970 soul classic, "Turn Back The Hands Of Time", on the second night of his residency on NBC-TV's The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

Originally a US hit for R&B singer Tyrone Davis, the song is featured on Springsteen's new covers album, "Only The Strong Survive." (read more)

CBS have announced that their New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash will be hosted by Jimmie Allen and Elle King and Entertainment Tonight's Rachel Smith.

The celebration to ring in the New Year will air LIVE from Music City, Friday, Dec. 31 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, 10:30 PM-1:30 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+ (read more)

Stratovarius have released a music video for their song "Survive." The song is the title track to the band's brand-new studio album and the video explores the group's touring life.

Jens Johansson had this to say, "We spent five or six days solid, trying to come up with the lyrics for that song. When we finally settled on that punchline for the chorus, it was a good song about survival and it all just seemed to fit. (read more)

The Wood Brothers have announced that they have extended their 2023 tour plans with the announcement of 20 additional shows in late Winter and Spring.

The dates will cover a wide range of ground, including stops in the Midwest, upstate New York, the Southeast and Colorado. Among the highlights along the way are performances at the Lexington Opera House in Lexington, KY, Town Ballroom in Buffalo, NY, The Walker Theatre in Chattanooga, TN and Mission Ballroom in Denver, CO. Fat Mike of NOFX has released a music video for "Suicide By Pigs", a track from his newly launched project, Codefendants, which was "forged out of a desire to make an album that sounded like nothing else - a completely genre-fluid album - a cross between hip hop, new-wave, flamenco, and the Beatles. And thus a whole new genre - Crime Wave was born."

The music video for "Suicide By Pigs" is Episode 1 of a cinematic pentalogy which succeeds previously released music video for Episode 2 and the track "Abscessed" which was surreptitiously released without fanfare on YouTube last month and has already racked up over 33k views. (read more)

80s-esque indie pop trio Moxy The Band just released their new album, Dream Feeling, and to celebrate we asked Amber DeLaRosa to tell us about one of the tracks, and she picked "The Cost". Here is the story:

It's funny that "The Cost" has resonated with people so much when the lyrics sprang from a place of feeling so alone in my experience. I remember writing it wondering if the lyrics would make sense to anyone but me, or if the song itself would even see the light of day. Tackling this song coincided with some events I couldn't have possibly predicted. Just prior to the start of the pandemic, I slipped and fell in the shower suffering a massive Grand mal seizure. Doctors fought to control the seizures but they persisted. I started the heavy writing process of this song just as I started heavy anti-convulsants. Due to my physical condition my drivers license was revoked, as was my sense of normalcy or autonomy. I felt all the pain of my youth had caught up to me in such an undeniable physical way.
