Frightened Rabbit Announce New Album "Painting Of A Panic Attack"

Scottish indie rockers Frightened Rabbit have announced that they will be releasing their new album "Painting Of A Panic Attack" on April 18th and have revealed the details for a U.S. tour in support of the effort.

The new album was produced by The National's Aaron Dessner and was recorded at his Brooklyn studio and at Dreamland Studio in Woodstock, NY in the summer of last year.

Dessner had the following to say about the album and Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison, "Great songwriters touch a nerve, and I think Scott really touches a nerve with these songs. To me, lyrically, this album is a step above anything he's written before."

Frightened Rabbit will be kicking off their U.S. tour in support of the new record, which will feature support from Caveman, on April 21st in Portland, OR at the Wonder Ballroom.

The tour will also feature appearances at this year's Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta and the Sasquatch! Festival in George, Wa. The final headline date of the trek will take place on May 27th in Sacramento.
